Injury Assessment and Treatment

Treating back, shoulder and knee pain is one of our most requested services at Your Sports Therapist, and we have many successful case studies of how we’ve solved problems and got people back into sport or simply everyday life pain free.

Sports Therapist Cheshire - Back Pain TreatmentBased in Cheshire, Your Sports Therapist offers a range of injury treatments including 30 minute and 1 hour massages. Our clinic is in Northwich and we offer home or work visits.

The process:

1. Initial injury assessment with Clinical Director Chris Wood.
Every patient is treated individually with special care taken to listen to you and your individual problem. Make notes of when the pain started and when it’s at it’s worst. The more feedback you can give the more efficient we can be!

2. Find the heart and the source of the problem.
In our experience with our patients, many physios are able to manage the pain but very few actually solve the problem. At Your Sports Therapist we do both, we help to relieve the pain but at the same time look to cure the problem creating it. You will be surprised at where the source of some problems lie!

3. Solve the problem and get you back in action. Our goal is to solve the problem as quickly and as correctly as possible. Many patients see results after the first session, others need a couple of sessions, others need longer, it all depends on the individual. We will advise you on exercises to complete at home and the approximate number of treatments needed. Our aim is to be as transparent as possible.
